Mary Kolbenschlag
 

For over 25 years, as a technology and business leader at IBM, Mary had the privilege of creating programs to develop thousands of employees. Because she frequently witnessed the negative effects of what a bad ‘job-fit’ did to individuals, she joined a special task force of 50 managers worldwide set up by the CEO, Ginni Rometty, to define the methodology for developing successful careers for thousands of employees in over twenty-two countries. This included the training and college education process.

Co-founding Discover Pathwaze was a result of the deep desire to begin the career readiness and progression earlier for young adults. Having a broad background with various industries, Mary utilizes her deep business and technical background, providing insight to young adults as they explore the various college paths. Mary is an active member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), College Consultants of Colorado, National Career Development Association (NCDA) and Colorado Career Development Association (CCDA).She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is completing a College Counseling Certificate from UCLA.
